The Child and Adolescent Outpatient Psychiatry Department at Northwell Health provides comprehensive care to children and families managing a wide range of complex behavioral and emotional difficulties—with appropriate levels of support throughout every stage of treatment.

Our staff

Our multidisciplinary team is composed of a variety of licensed professionals with extensive backgrounds in behavioral health. The treatment team includes:

  • Psychiatrists
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Psychologists
  • Social workers
  • Licensed mental health counselors

In order to provide the best care possible, the treatment team may request to consult with the patient’s medical physician or previous mental health providers. We welcome coordination of care with primary care physicians, schools, and community referral sources throughout the treatment process.
