Formed in 2020, the Center for Gun Violence Prevention is charting a public health approach to end the epidemic of gun violence—for our patients, their families and our communities.
We're providing clinical care and support services to those impacted by gun violence, developing best practices for hospitals to prevent firearm injury and death, and mobilizing a national coalition of health care leaders to depolarize gun safety and tackle this public health crisis.
Our goal is to dramatically reduce gun violence so that it's no longer a driver of hospital admissions for injuries or deaths.
