Get care where and when you need it
Virtual care (telehealth) is available to all patients—which means expert care in the comfort of your home. If an in-office visit is required, our facilities and physicians will take all necessary precautions for your safety and comfort.

About us

The Division of Internal General Medicine offers comprehensive chronic care management for disease and preventive care, with a particular emphasis on conditions such as hypertension, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. We aim to provide a high quality experience for our patients through compassionate and evidence-based medical care, while also maintaining a focus on furthering research and scholarship.

Our team of primary care clinicians are educators, researchers and leaders in the field who are eager to take on the next challenge. They are supported by highly skilled pharmacists, health psychologists, registered nurses and nurse practitioners.

In addition to primary care management, we provide the following on-site diagnostic and preventive health services:

  • Addiction medicine services
  • Anticoagulation clinic
  • Behavioral health support
  • Blood and other office laboratory tests
  • Diabetes education
  • Electrocardiography
  • Health education
  • Immunizations
  • Medication management
  • Vision and hearing screenings
  • Weight management programs
  • Women’s health services

As an academic division associated with the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, we have educational and research interests in providing excellent clinical care for weight management, addiction medicine and women’s health. We offer multiple clinical practice sites that provide a wide range of patient-centered primary care services.
