This distinction recognizes facilities committed to delivering safe, high-quality care and achieving superior patient outcomes. SRC’s rigorous evaluation process assessed surgical expertise, consistency of treatment protocols, quality of surgical equipment and patient education initiatives.

MEETH has a long-standing history of firsts in ophthalmology, from the establishment of the first diagnostic glaucoma clinic in the nation to the world’s first eye bank and first modern-day cataract surgery. The facility has also been at the forefront of research, advancing groundbreaking technologies such as ophthalmic lasers for cataract and retinal procedures, early detection and treatment of glaucoma, retinal diseases, inflammatory conditions and other eye disorders.
