General surgery

The Division of General Surgery provides comprehensive surgical care for adult and pediatric inpatients and outpatients. All physicians are specialists in their areas, and teaching appointments are through the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. 

Some conditions we treat include:

• Complex hepatobiliary and pancreatic diseases
• Benign and malignant conditions of the breast, gastrointestinal tract, biliary tract, pancreas and liver
• All types of hernias, including inguinal, femoral, epigastric and incisional
