Our mission
We aim to improve the health of the communities we serve by providing compassionate, team-based care—including supportive behavioral interventions and medications—for those with substance use disorders. As part of the Department of Psychiatry and Department of Medicine, as well as a collaborator with other partners and affiliations, we actively participate in various training, education and research activities to reach this goal.
And because safety is always first, we follow strict COVID-19 protocols and offer remote telehealth access to our addiction treatment. Whether you are struggling with alcohol or drugs, or care for a loved one with an addiction, we’re here to help.
Northwell’s addiction services serve the eastern and western Long Island communities, as well as the New York City boroughs and Westchester.
